Lidl Announces €420 Million Investment Programme Across Munster

On 3 November 2026, Lidl Ireland announced a €420 million investment programme across Munster, including €306 million for County Cork. The programme includes a new €200 million regional distribution centre at Little Island, 14 new stores and the redevelopment of 10 existing stores. The expansion is expected to create more than 500 permanent jobs and support over 4,500 construction workers across the development programme.
